Lower the Ping Kicker

Is there any way to lower the automatic ping kicker? I was playing yesterday and there were at least 8 people playing with pings over 200! Really slows the server up and makes playing no fun! Mad

The only problem with lowering it Airforce is that I would be kicked any time I tried to play. For some reason on the SIN server my ping jumps around from my normal 18-35 ping all the way up to 600 or more sometimes. I notice the lag even when there are no other players as well. I don't think it is the high ping of the players. Wonder if something can be done about lowering ping?

Lowered the limit form 300 to 250. This shouldn't make that big of a difference to wiggly and people from Brazil and Portugal etc are still able to play.

E: Wiggly, supa is right. Try messing with your rates. You need to use the correct values for your internet connection speed to get the best ping possible.

Rizza do you type the whole thing at once or each line and enter? cl_cmdrate 20 cl_updaterate 20 rate 20000.

you do them one at a time in console but remember you have to do in ingame and not in spec you have to join a team so you can see if your ping drops

It has to be the plug in because it makes your screen shake and go all swirly and what not.

The only time I have seen grenades make the screen shake like that was with a plug in on the 76ad server.

It's the map vote plugin. There is no extra plugin for the nades. It lags even when you cap past the nade level on team GG.
