mic issue in dod

i went into control panel tested my mic, it worked and it was clear
i went into steam settings tested the mic in there, it works and its clear
I went ingame options tested the mic, it works and its clear
i am using logitech webcam with a built in mic

You could have issues with the unit combined having to process video and sound try a separate mic and disable the webcam mic, if you don't have a separate mic, you can use a pair of ear buds as a mic....neat tip.

i figured out the command that was messing with my mic
cl_cmdrate
that command in console can not be any lower then 15
i was doing cl_cmdrate 10 thats how the mic issue started to fade out

That is great, i will leave this topic up for a while, there are a few people lately that have been having this issue.
